SOCIO-ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED GROUPS (SEDG) & FACILITIES FOR DIFFERENTLY-ABLED

At College of Nursing, Nirmala Medical Centre, we are dedicated to promoting inclusive education and equal opportunities for students from socio-economically disadvantaged groups (SEDG). Our institution provides various support systems to empower students academically and professionally, ensuring they excel in their nursing careers.

Support for Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG):

  • Scholarships & Financial Assistance – Merit-based and need-based scholarships are available to support students from economically weaker sections.
  • Counseling & Mentorship – Faculty mentors and student counselors provide academic and emotional guidance to help students overcome challenges.
  • Skill Development Programs – Career guidance workshops, training sessions, and soft skill development programs prepare students for better opportunities.
  • Remedial Coaching & Academic Support – Additional academic support and mentoring programs ensure all students receive the assistance they need to succeed.

Existing & Future Facilities for Differently-Abled Students:

Currently, there are no differently-abled students enrolled at our institution. However, we are committed to making our campus more accessible. Lift facilities are already available, ensuring ease of movement within the building. In the future, we plan to introduce special arrangements and infrastructural modifications to enhance accessibility and inclusivity for differently-abled students.

The College of Nursing, Nirmala Medical Centre remains focused on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, ensuring they receive the best education and professional opportunities.
