The College of Nursing, Nirmala Medical Centre is a prestigious institution committed to shaping the future of nursing professionals. It is a unit of Nirmala Medical Society and is managed by the FCC Sisters, Kothamangalam Province. Situated within the Nirmala Medical Centre Campus, our students benefit from hands-on clinical training at our 300-bed multi-specialty hospital, gaining invaluable real-world experience.

Established in 2003 with the GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Programme, our institution has continued to grow, launching the B.Sc. Nursing Programme in 2011 with an annual intake of 50 students. Our focus is on delivering high-quality education through experienced faculty, ensuring that students receive comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical training in various healthcare settings.

The college is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including spacious and well-furnished classrooms featuring audio-visual connectivity and multimedia rooms to enhance learning. Our nursing labs are well-equipped for practical training, while our modern computer lab and library, stocked with an extensive collection of books, journals, magazines, CDs, and broadband internet access, provide students with ample resources for academic excellence.

Beyond academics, we emphasize holistic development, offering personality development courses to build leadership and communication skills. Our institution also fosters spiritual well-being through a dedicated chapel, ensuring a nurturing environment for personal growth. Additionally, we provide facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Courses Offered

B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) – 50 Seats

The B.Sc. Nursing program at the College of Nursing, Nirmala Medical Centre is a four-year undergraduate course designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in the healthcare sector.
