NRI APPLICATION

Admissions for NRI Candidates

The College of Nursing, Nirmala Medical Centre welcomes applications from Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program. Our institution provides an excellent learning environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and clinical training to shape aspiring nursing professionals.

Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum aggregate marks: 45% (40% for reserved categories).
  • The candidate must be a child/ward of an NRI sponsor (parent, legal guardian, or close relative).
  • Proof of NRI status of the sponsor (passport copy, visa details, or embassy certificate) must be submitted.

Documents Required

  1. Completed application form (available online or at the admission office).
  2. 10th & 12th standard mark sheets (or equivalent certificates).
  3. Transfer Certificate (TC) & Conduct Certificate from the last attended institution.
  4. Migration Certificate (if applicable).
  5. Passport & Visa copy of the NRI sponsor.
  6. Sponsor’s Affidavit (notarized declaration of financial support).
  7. Relationship Proof between the applicant and the sponsor.
  8. Medical Fitness Certificate.
  9. Recent passport-size photographs (as per admission guidelines).

Admission Procedure

  1. Application Submission:
    • Fill out the NRI application form and submit it with the required documents.
    • Pay the prescribed application fee.
  2. Screening & Verification:
    • The admission committee will verify eligibility and documents.
  3. Selection & Counseling:
    • Shortlisted candidates will be informed about counseling sessions.
  4. Fee Payment & Enrollment:
    • Selected candidates must pay the NRI tuition fee as per institutional norms.
    • Enrollment will be confirmed upon successful fee payment and document verification.
